Blastomussa wellsi
Blastomussa wellsi is one of the most popular corals among many aquarists. They're not hard to keep and don't require expensive equipment like some corals. They are available in many different colors. Common colours are Maroons, Reds, and Purple with green centres. However occasionally one will find them in other colors like solid blue.
In aquaria The Blastomussa wellsi is easy to care for preferring low to medium flow and lighting. Note one must take time to acclimate this coral to high lights, so originally place low and then move up with time.
Propagation Be careful cutting around the Blastos head and then into rock containing the coral, in order to capture the skeleton, one can achieve capturing a
frag
. DO NOT JUST CUT IT AS YOU WOULD A POLYP, IT'S
