    Great link Rob. After building many aquarium stands for large tanks i would highly recommend using doubled up 2x4 over 4x4's. They are easier to work with and will not be as prone to twisting or warping. I have used 4x4 in the past and 2x4 are much better. especially for the legs.

    Great link! I used 4x4's when building my 180g stand and I kind of wished I doubled 2x4's. They have more uses and it's to buy all 1 type of wood. Not to mention just as strong when doubled up
