    CO2 -- refill locations?

AS fate would have it my CO2 tank is all but empty a couple of days before I leave town for several days.

Anybody know if there is a tank refill location closer to the downtown of Toronto than Camcarb on Weston Road in North York?

    thanks,

    Steve

    I don't have a tank yet

At the moment I don't have so much as a goldfish bowl -- gave up my 120 gallon reef tank and all its expensive bells 'n whistles in December '06. I plan on returning to the hobby when I move to a new place in '08. I SO miss having a tank.

    Re: CO2 -- refill locations?

I don't know where in TO. I have a suggestion for the board though because this is the one millionth time I've seen a post on where do you get CO2 refills. We need a sticky or a link on the main page to a list of CO2 suppliers. We can start compiling the list right here.

Good idea Todd. I'll make this thread a "sticky". Now if everyone can post locations for C02 refills we'll be all set.

That's just one location. Paul posted the same one I did. I'm sure someone will chip in a few refill stations for TO.

    Re: CO2 -- refill locations?

From what I have heard all the CO2 comes from only a few companies. The CO2 gas is the same wether the end use is medical, food and beverage, or fire prevention. The only difference is that with medical tanks they purge them to ensure there are no contaminants in the tank. Let's keep this thread on topic of where to buy CO2 .
