Re: New Tank Build for a Nes House

If your intention is to introduce more micro fauna/pods back to display tank then I would suggest positioning the socks right under the down flow PVC from your display tank. This way you get to trap all detritus without impending/restricting the growth of your micro fauna & thus pushing as much copepods back into the main system.

Re: New Tank Build for a Nes House

The tank is now in its new home!!! The tank was put in place and the wall unit was built around it.

The sump /refuge/frag tank should be coming in tomorrow.

Hopefully this can all be plumber together quickly.

    Here are a few pictures.

This is the water change unit.

The system is now completely filled. I still need to add salt, sand and rock to get the cycle started.. going out of town for the night so it will have to wait until tomorrow night. It's exciting but now the long cycling process begins......
