Re: New Tank Build for a Nes House

Because of moisture concerns upstairs where the main tank is as it's built into a unit, we used acrylic sheets to cover the tank. This has significantly reduced moisture and has the added bonus of stopping fish from jumping!!!

Wow!!! I'm jealous!!! I've had to get my fetish satisfied the old fashioned way... Buying new fish for my tank... here are some of my recent additions..

As well, this happened this week!!!

I'm going to try raising the fry (my wife and kids are all excited) but I have very low expectations especially on a first try... I'll keep you all posted....

Re: New Tank Build for a Nes House

My first attempt at raising the Fry was a complete failure!!! Many of the eggs did hatch but do to some unforeseen circumstances my proposed set up could not work and i was forced to improvise which is never good. Unfortunately when i woke up in the morning all the fry that hatched had died. I was able to take a video of it and will try posting it separately.

    ---------- Post added August 2nd, 2017 at 12:27 PM ----------

These are the eggs just prior to hatching.

I can't figure out how to post video so this is pocof new fry

Re: New Tank Build for a Nes House

Sorry to hear that ... wasn't there a AP member StevieK (if that's how it's spelled) that has pretty good success breeding Clownfish? I may have the username incorrect but for sure someone from here has the experience ...
