    Thumbs down What Is One Coral Reef Worth? It Takes A Shipwreck To Find Out

    You must have heard or read about the cruise ship (Caledonian Sky) that ran aground and destroyed around 1,600 square meters (18,000 square feet) of pristine corals in Raja Ampat, Indonesia. I don't really understand how or why a 300 foot ship is allowed to even wander that close to such a pristine coral reef!

    Guess generating tourism money is more important ...
