Seahorse question

Hello,

I have couple questions,

1st can anyone tell me was the long name is for a black seahorse? if you know what i mean when i say black seahorse,

2nd, Do seaorses eat critters from the tank, mine seem to be looking all over and under rocks and eating things.

It is not 100% a Kuda. Kuda is the generic name often tossed around in the industry. The simple fact is there is no such thing as a black seahorse. It would depend on the area of origin, and the overall appearance. A dead give away for H.Kuda is the coronet. Do you have a picture? Finally they do destroy your tanks bug and pod population.
