Would it be okay to have SH's in a 33g *with* a blue linckia, and a couple of banggai cardinals?
What about cleanup crew? Are crabs, hermits, snails, shrimp, etc. safe? Which are and which are not?
What about urchins? I've heard some are reef safe (tuxedo?) Would these do okay in a SH tank?
Anything else that would compliment a SH tank safely?
Thanks. :)

Seahorses do fine with anything that won't bite them, sting them, or bully them. Banggai Cardinals are fine, but if they pair off they get very teritorial and this could be a problem. On that not I do keep a single Banggai in with my seahorses. In my holding tanks, I keep lots of janitors, such as snails, starfish, blue leg hermits, and urchins. All crabs are fine but the larger ones can take a chunk out of a seahorses tail. As for other suitable fish, gobies do well, as do firefish. Corals are also a welcome addition as long as they are not aggressive stingers. Remember that seahorses hitch to anything and everything, so they can be stung by the coral, or cause the coral to close up because they attach to it. I have umbrellas in with mine and mushrooms. I am only to happy to promote the sale of CAPTIVE BRED SEAHORSES! Any further questions are always welcome. If ever in Guelph, you can come and see the stable.
