I was reading one of the posts about a sick clownfish and ended up doing a little research myself. I found out that there are a few diseases that can be passed to humans and I have a bad habit of pulling hang nails so I always have many cuts on my hands. As well my tank is quite deep (24") and I am a very tiny person so even IF I where my gloves the water usually gets into them anyways. Has anyone ever got sick due to there tank? I wonder how often this happens? And I'm sure there are many more cases of this not reported. So has anyone been sick due to their tanks????

I turned 32 this year and have worked and now own a fish storefor over half those years. My hands have been in a tank or pond everyday for roughly twenty years. Never been sick because of either. I've read alot about it and know a guy who claims he had fungus in his mouth from a waterchange. Not sure if it was but because he's a close friend, I had to laugh!
