I have had a rose BTA in my tank for 11 days now and my perc won't touch it. Is there a way to get the two to interact? I would really like them to host so any ideas would be much appreciated.:)

BTAs aren't natural host for perculas, AFAIK. Sometimes they'll use 'em, sometimes they won't, just like any other host that isn't natural.

I introduced a gold-striped maroon into a tank with a BTA and she was in there within 30 seconds. If you want a "sure thing" (or at least a higher probability of success), you may want to exchange your perc for a maroon or tomato. Alternatively, I have read that you can sometimes trick a perc into going to an anemone which is not a natural host by placing a clown veggie clip close to the anemone. Apparently, they think that if another clown is there, it must be a good thing so they go in too.

Thats a pretty good idea Mcchemist. I thought BTA were the best for hosting percs and false percs. Thats why i bought mine. I have a False perc BTW
