OK, I already lost one anemopne and now I acquired another anemone in trouble. It is a 90% bleached Rose. I want to try and save this little guy.

He is on his own right now and I want to see if I can get him to eat. I have tried mysis and chopped Krill to no avail. He is just shrinking up more and more. It is looking bleak but I am looking for some advice and pointers that others have had sucess with when trying to get anemone back to health.

Best bet is try to give it more flow. Everytime my anemone is looking a lil off, I give it more flow and then it perks back up. Try feeding it shrimp pellets as well something more solid so it can pull it in easier.

Hello

Great water, good random flow and if it is bleached it needs to eat and eat often.. Without its zooanthellea the animal will need to gain all it's nutrition from the foods you feed it. It will also need good lighting When a coral or anemone bleach. for the most part they don't expell all there zoo. So in order for the reproduction of more zooanthellea it will need good lighting.

Hi,

Try "misting" it with Cyclop-eeze, or feeding some chopped-up silversides (frozen, cheap, marine fish, rinsed and thawed before serving).

Good luck!
