OK, who here is into serious Corydoras keeping/breeding? I have:

C. sterbai
C. julii
C. aeneus
C. elegans
C. panda
C. trilineatus

...and hope to be producing fry from most of them in the next 5 months or so, so I am looking for other Cory people to chat with, and maybe do a fry-exchange with.

I haven't had a corydora before. But, what type of cory would u recommend to put in my fry tank? I have 3cm nicaragua fry that i would like a bottom feeder to take care of all the leftover food. And if you could use common name that'd be better  Thanks!

I find Cories to be somewhat fragile. You should do some research to find out what species would be well adapted to the Ph and Hardness levels of your tank. Planet Catfish (http://www.planetcatfish.com) might be a good place to start.

Actually, I have never lost a Cory except to old age or predation in 20 years...most Corys, especially the most commonly available, aeneus, are fairly hardy. C. aeneus (' bronze cory'...the best species to start with) will do well in a pH ranging from 6.0-8.0, and temps from 74ºF-80ºF...they are inexpensive, and small, captive-spawned fry are available regularly.
