:shock1: Well i went to do a water change and notices the silicone in the top left of my tank did not look right so i pushed on it a little and WOW IT MOVED... so I have 6" at the top left where the only thing holding the water is the silcone that pushed out when they pushed the glass together... the accuall seam is broken... and the glass seams to be pushing out a bit...

Now my question is can I only drain 12" of water and press some silicone in there and clamp it for 48 hours or do i have to drain the whole tank and start all over...????

Thanks

Tyson

:micro: ( this is what i am trying to avoid... :) )

I'd try draining the twelve inches of water, siliconing and clamping it if I were you. That's basically all they do when they make the tank, isn't it. I think it'll be fine. Just keep an eye on it.

I agree! In my experence if you can provide a bead in the backside (inside) of the glass & contour it with your finger to create a radius that stretches between the 2 pains it will do a fine job to seal your seam. If your careful when applying the silicone it should look as good as factory sealed.

Good luck Trigger
