Bill I am from Montreal also ( West island ) I just finished placing an order with MOPS so I don't think I will be joining this time but I do plan on ordering some livestock Please let me know if you ever want to do a group livestock order

Sorry I can't get into this one at this time.. but sometime in the near future! (just started mine, ending it's cycle soon..)

Good to see some other Montrealers here!

Just got some live rock from aqua tropical a couple of weeks ago. Not really impressive live rock, but he got me some nicer pieces from his main tank. Including some aiptasia, but got a pep shrimp to help out..

Went by to Octopus on Papineau, too bad it's run down. Got some nice live stuff in there!

The guy at Papineau has big attitude problem , Go to Steve at Le corail or even Brent at Big Als, Brent is beginning to get a very decent amount of LPS and Softies, I did not see much in ways of SPS

As far as Octopus goes....it gives he the creeps to go into that shop...it's dirty, yes he has some very nice stuff...but rather high in price. Le Coral is very nice and keep clean, but then again another very high priced store.

The live rock at aqua tropicale is from Africia, and no I am not impressed with it either, however if you are willing to pay for Fiji rock, they will order it for you, just need to talk to Jerry, (I think).

If you looking for some sps corals, you might want to look at Animal expert in Laval on St Martin? in Chomedey....The price is a bit higher than most, but then again, they get stuff you won't find at Big Al's, Nature Center or Aqua Tropical.
Forget about getting any live rock there, it is old, and has lost any coraline that may of been on it.

I am looking for more Scarlet Hermits and I am not willing to pay 7$ each that nature has so yes it someone is placing an live order with J&L I would like to get some of these.

I'm planning a nano and I'll be getting the lighting from JL but right now I'm broke and it's only in the planning stage. I'll gladly let you know when I plan on placing my order.

I was planning on getting that, I can have it shipped on my companies UPS account (no charge to me :)) so with the GST only it's very reasonable. I have a tank 15 gal Hagen, it was used to house our snake but he has a new tank. I bought some GE 100% Silicone to re-seal (not sure if it was intended a reptile tank cause of the dimensions so I'd rather take the precaution) but in reading the instructions is says not for aquarium use. I guess I'll have to go back and find one that is more suitable. I thought that 100% Silicone was fine, I guess not.

I'm going to get a AC 300 or 500 for filter/fuge.

Does anyone have any pom pom xenia's for trade? White ones? I may not have the leather for trade, I shipped something to a friend in N.B. and it took 48hrs to get there, I may have to ship him another :( if it doesn't recover.

Thanks Bill, I have to first see if others made it to someone in N.B. in good condition (UPS took 48hrs) and if all is fine then I'll have this one. I'll let you know how things turn out :) Thx
