My newly introduced leather coral seems to be dying off while the other types of coral seem to be doing fine.It is turning brown from the outside in and looking shrivelled. What should I do ?

just putting more current on it and turning down your lighting period for a week or so untill it is acclimated.

I have done a 25% water change and have shortened my light cycle and directed one of my powerheads to direct more current. It is drooped over and still looking sickly. It doesnt have very much if at all slime on it but looks inky and mushy.Does not look good.Day 3.

I had a Kenya tree that did that when I increased the current to much. Even though it was not in a high current area it was unhappy. I was going with roughly 25X volume per hour. Once I turned down the flow it still looked like crud for about a week and then suddenly one day it just opened right up to full glory and dropped 5 branches that are all growing well now. :) So if it's got to much flow that could be also be a problem.

I find that sometimes leathers and mushrooms look sick just before splitting, I cannot say that about yours for sure.

Mine always looks sick at least a couple days a week. Then when it comes back it's bigger than before. I think it's part of the growing process.
