Not sure whether I should put it here or the classifieds since I'm not looking to sell it. Anyways, for those of you who remember Ive been trying to nurse a ~6 inch bleached blue haddoni carpet (recieved when I bought a tank setup from someone) back to health but its been unsuccessful. Its actually been getting worse since the addition of metal halides and a skimmer a few months back so Id like to give it to someone who is able to nurse it back because I would hate to see this beautiful creature die in a tank when it could have lived forever in the wild. So, PM me with your tank setup, carpet experience, and what not and I'll give it to the best suited tank/person. And if it does get healthy again in the future, the exchange of some sps frags in return would be appreciated, and if it doesn't get better, at least we gave it a shot. Not really sure how many people are keeping sps with carpets so I don't know if the possibility of a future trade of that kind is feasible. Anyways, PM me! Id like to get it out of the tank and back to health ASAP. Pick up in hamilton only. Its still sticky but doesn't like eating as much.

Its much more shriveled up now than it is in the pic taken months ago below.

I love those carpet anemones. I use to have a green one with a red mouth. It grew HUGE! From 6" when I bought it to over a 1.5 ft in diameter. I was concerned for the fish in the tank becuase of this monster carpet in the middle of the tank. It ate a huge white starfish that I had. I'd really like the carpet but my goal is to go SPS. It's something that needs a really large tank. I would not recommend anyone getting this carpet unless it's going in a 100+ gallon tank. They get big if conditions are right. In the wild they can be meters in diameter.
