I want to add some small peaceful fish to my 65 gallon.
so far all I have are 1 purple dottyback and 1 lawnmower blenny.

I was thinking of a Scotts Fairy Wrasse but have been unable to find one.

Any suggestions??

Small and peacefull, huh. Tall order, you could try a Bangaii Cardinal of perhaps a Clown of some sort, don't go Maroon, Saddleback or True, I've heard they are the more aggressive of the bunch. Even a small Centropyge sp. say an African or Brazilian Flameback, Flames' have great colour and are generally good natured.

I think a mid water planktivore like Nemateleotris decora or N. magnifica (purple and common fire fish) are beautiful and peaciful fish. They are also a very hardy fish in the right tank. I like Dman suggestion with the cardinal but I personally wouldn't chance an angel in a reef tank. Lots do but my experience was not a happy one.:boo:

i would agree that bangai's are very good.. they are peaceful dont bother any other fish..and are very interesting to watch..
and if you are lucky and get a mated pair..well you will be in luck as they are one of the few saltwater fish that you can actually breed (a whole other story) and if successful...well there is a way to finance your hobby...!!

you could do pajama or spotted cardinals..and i have a salifin tang as well who seems to mind his business as long as there is enough to eat and keep him busy..

another suggestion is maybe some type of sand shifting gobie..
watchman or sleeper.. they are somewhat quite but stir up your sand bed (if you have one) and can be a help as well to the tank..

stay away from mandarins or spotted gobies...they die...simple as that..as your tank will not have enough for them to eat..

well enough of my ramblings.....

see ya on the reef...!
