I sure wish my other 2 sea horses ate as easily and well as the Pot Bellies I got from you Aaron. I've had no success in getting the other "stupid" ones to take the mysis. Now the Pot Bellies have figured out that guppies are tasty, and when they decide they want one they just get them. The stupid ones have a hard time with guppies, number one they can't swim as well and once they wound them they just leave them, my leaf fish usually takes the wounded ones. I've tried feeding by hand, they'll take ghost shrimp but don't respond at all to the hand held mysis. I think I'll try holding a ghost and a mysis together and see if they'll go for it. Maybe if I just just put the sea horses, some mysis, and a couple of ghost shrimp in a large net and let them try their luck. They will eat out of a small net so it might be possible. I figure if they try to get the ghosts they'll get at least the taste of the mysis.
If you've got any ideas Aaron I'd appreciate it. Or maybe you might want to trade a couple of yellow untrained ponies for a pot belly or two.

Wayne,
That is why I am not a big fan of wild caught seahorses. I hope your plans to switch them to frozen works out. It is a very slow, and drawn out process. NOt impossible, but not easy. Be careful not to get you Pots, hooked on live food.
Tks
Aaron

So far I wait till the pots have had their fill and then I try to feed the stupid ones. As long as the pots are full they leave the live food alone.
