I am looking for good info on keeping and propogating pachyseris rugosa. So far, I understand:

-good flow
-good lighting
-prone to bleaching (dependant on zooxanthellae)
-can be fed but probably doesn't require

Can't find out a lot more about this so far. Any good links? Haven't had a chance to look at the GARF site yet.

hello

Cool coral. Thin skined tissue damages easy. grows slow. Don't look to make you fortune on this one LOL..

Finding a bit more...the slow growth may make it a less than ideal propogation candidate. I may just find a nice spot in the tank and let it get good and snug.

In the wild, easily harvested from large colonies with little impact from collection since the mother colony will not be disturbed.
