I got this RBTA last night....I placed it at the bottom corner of the tank.....silly thing...instead of moving to the front of the tank where the light is, it moved to the back of the rock work where I can barely see it and there is no light....
What can I do to get it out to the open....
I think it likes the current flowing across the back of the tank so I am going to unplug the PH there.....but Agh!!!!!

let it settle, it will probably come back out later. if not find out what rock it has attached to and move it . but I would let it acclimate.

IT is going to go were it wants to go. If there is no light there at all it will probably move to find more light. Do you have a clown with it, it will need to be fed if it is not getting good light.

I have 2 clowns but they aren't aware of the anemone yet.....
Moving the rock is not an option b/c it is a piece of the foundation rock......

sometimes anemone's can be a real pain in the ass ;)
its the worse when they decide to take a stroll and stick to the glass lol...

At least on the glass I know it is alive and doing well, plus I can see it....not when they are facing the back of the tank behind the rock work...

I would let it settle for now. It may move around a few times before finding a more permanent location. Lighting, current, and substrate are all going to play a role in the spot it chooses.
One word of warning is your powerheads. BTA's are often attracted to current and have a tendency to get sucking up in powerheads. They often move to the powerheads at night with the lights out. In the morning they are sucked in and chopped up.

make sure its a big guard... because they can still get stuck to them, bta probably wouldn't fend well... just give it some time, it'll come out... my friggin carpet has been stuck in a 402 ph more then once, doesn't even phase him, but he is a beast lol.
