The web site (http://www.cyclop-eeze.com/).

If you have small planktivores (including lots of corals, clowns, royal grammas, etc.), they will go bonkers for this stuff. Hands (and fins) down, it my fish's favourite food, and it's the only thing I'm 100% certain my frogspawn eats. It's also very, very rich in Highly Unsaturated Fatty Acids (HUFA) which are essential for most marine animals to look their best and be healthy.

It's also one of Eric Borneman's favourite marine products (http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-02/eb/index.htm).

Now, if only AJ or Flavio would get in the freeze dried (makes a great replacement for flake for quick feedings), I wouldn't have to mail order the stuff. Hint. Hint. Hint.

I actually took 2 bars......
I chopped a 1/2" piece off 1 bar and used it the other day......after I mixed it with water I realize how long it will last me....
Some of my fish seem to like them better than the flakes....but I think the size of the cyclopees is perfect for hard corals....

I hear you Duce! I just nipped off a small corner of the bar and melted it in a medicine cup (the kind that comes with Nyquil, etc.). Added some tank water and was amazed at the density of the food!

Used a syringe to feed my mushrooms as a test. My ricordeas sucked it up pretty quick! Then dumped the rest in the tank. The fish went after it, but no more than for anything else (sometimes I think I'm running a pig farm the way they eat!).

What have I learned? The tank will definitely eat the stuff. Now, will it have any beneficial effect? I'm wondering how I'll ever know...

But far be it for me to buck popular trends...

Cyclop-eeze is best for small fish -- clowns and the like. I think it's too small for bigger fish to take it seriously.

My clowns, royal gramma and shrimp do backflips for it ... probably becuase the stuff is probably awfully close to what they'd eat in the wild.

Just picked up some tonight, amazing stuff. Fish went nuts for it, and the corals did too. Like someone said before, its really densely packed in there, I can see it lasting a really long time.

i finaly got around to trying this myself, the fish ate it well and the sps coral reaction was amazing,i was surprised as well at how dense it is,a small amount fills the tank with little beads
