Well, I figured I had hijacked Hark's thread long enough. Here's the first batch of A.frenatus fry from the pair I got from Mugster.
I counted about 50 or so fry in that pic, so far they look really good.
I'll update regularily.

Update,
First siphon:
10 dead
58 stillborn
1 unhatched
I'm not entirely sure how many there are in total so the statistics will have to be worked backwards.

How do you tell the difference if they are just dead or whether they are stillborn? You watchin THAT close??? :)
I'd like a breeding pair of Perculas too, but not for about 6-8 months when the tank will be setup and cycled...

Myka,
I call the ones the that are still in the egg casing still born. As in they managed to detach the casing from the substrate (in this case a clay pot) and drown before they could extricate themselves.

How do you feed the fry Dman? Rotifers?

Wicked Dman! That's soo cool. I'm actually surprised you don't have a pair of spawning Percs. Those would be the most popular and therefore easy to find, no?

You know what they say man, practice makes perfect. You will succeed as you have invested WAY TOOOOO MUCH time in this without giving up.

Thanks buddy!
Too much time, too much money, too much space and the patience of Job to stop now. Losing the GSM's was almost the last straw.

Excellent Dman! I'm glad to see their still spawning for you. It's been such a long time since I sold them to you I had forgotten that you were trying to breed them.
Keep up the good work.

Chrismo,
I didn't have enough food ready for the hatch, despite my best efforts. I have been working with Reefcrew to rectify the problem as they have the best product available to hobbiest in Canada. The second batch I poisoned with high nitrate parent water, won't do that again. It's coming along, I've learned a ton of stuff over the last month.

Hey Dman, I'm very interested in how you have your setup and what kind of products you are using to feed your fry. I have finnally paired up some perc's and I am have them setup in a 20L. but information is somewhat vague on the internet and it's always good to have someone to talk to about this.

hey,
try THIS BOOK (http://www.aquaticeco.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/product.detail/iid/6756) and THIS ONE (http://www.aquaticeco.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/product.detail/iid/6752) too.
As for food for the fry I'm using product from THESE GUYS (http://reefcrew.com) exclusively.

How are they now? Any left?

if youre having problems with not having enough food, (without trying to sound cruel) instead of putting what you have in with all of them .. why not keep half the fry and focus on raising half at a time? maybe more of a survival rate .. just an idea, im not the one with the breeding experience :p

Thanks for the input TylerC.
I have since remedied the rotifer issue and have more than enough to go around, the extra gets fed to my reef tank.
Dory,
I have plenty left, it went on a sloding scale as I got better and overcame some hurdles. So now the batches range from one survivor to hundreds per.
