Having one of these odd balls in your tank will lead to hours of enjoyment. They are constantly foraging for food in the tank and often perch like a hawk and stare.

I swear it knows when you are watching as mine seems to show off whenever I am in the room.

An algae eater it does a good job with hair algae and it leaves lip prints on the glass as it attacks the film algae.

Family: Blenniidae

This fish get's along with all of my tankmates but it can and WILL defend itself.
I would caution placing other blennies in the tank after it has been established. I learned the hard way :(

A great fish to own

Hey Mitch

I have a scooter and a lawnmower blenny and they seem to get along fine. Just my experience

I had one in my 65 gallon. As soon as I put in another blennie it flipped out and started to chase it non stop.

Guess thats why they say that no two fish are alike.

Glad to hear you are having luck !
