Is there any relationship between CRI and degrees K in florescent bulbs? I am looking for the F32T8 6500 K bulbs and the only bulbs I can find have a CRI of 85 and the temp is not listed.

We need more information like Manufacturer, P/N etc. You may want to go to the manufacturer website for more info

CRI stands for colour rendition index and refers to how close (100 is perfect) to natural sunlight a lamp renders colours. For reef use you are actually not after an extreemly high CRI since we tend to go towards blue which is lower in CRI then an ideal.

6500K is closest to 100 but not all 6500's are equal in CRI. This is because some may be missing some colour ranges all together but still reach 6500K. A CRI of 85 can be anything from about 5000K to 10000K and can also include some 6500's.

CRI is most important to professionals in the photo industry etc, not to aquariests.. You need to find out what the kelvin rating is to be of any use.
