I have enabled "Custom User Titles" - so, once you have 25 posts and have been registered for 14-days - you can pick your own title!

Same holds true with "Custom Avatars".

All I ask is that you keep your user title NON-OFFENSIVE.

To Edit your User Title:
Click on the USER CP button at the top of the forums under the ReefPure banner.
Click Edit Profile
Scroll down till you see the Heading "Custom User Text"
Enter the desired text into the box
To add a Custom Avatar:
Click on the USER CP button at the top of the forums under the ReefPure banner.
Click Edit Options
Scroll down to the very bottom and you will see the "CHANGE AVATAR" button - Click it
Scroll to the very bottom and you will see an area where you can link to an image that is already on the web, or where you can upload one of your own to the server.
Make sure that the "Radio Button" where it says YES is clicked, and then click the "SUBMIT Modifications" button
I have had a few e-mails regarding finding/uploading of Custom Avatars.

Here are a few sites to find some nice AV's:

http://www.avatardir.com/
http://www.bbaddons.com/as/pafiledb.php?action=category&id=1

Find one you like, RIGHT-CLICK and SAVE AS to your MY DOCUMENTS folder.

Open the AquariumPros.ca Forums (http://www.aquariumpros.ca/forums/index.php), and select the USER CP button at the top right (make sure that you're logged in)!

Select EDIT OPTIONS and scroll to the bottom of the page. You will be able to select CUSTOM AVATARS there.

Once you get this screen open, you will see You can upload an avatar from your computer: and a BROWSE button. Click this button and find the image you saved in your MY DOCUMENTS folder. Click the image and you will see it's path (something like C:\WINDOWS\My Documents\AP-Logo-sm.jpg) in the box. Then click on the SUBMIT MODIFICATIONS button below and allow the image to get uploaded to the server.

You can also store it on your own webspace (if you have some), and enter the URL of the image in the You can enter an URL of your avatar: location above the UPLOAD option. Make sure that if you do this, that it points directly to the image and not the folder (ie - http://www.your_web_space.com/images/my_new_avatar.gif).

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR IMAGE IS WITHIN THE LIMITS:
Use custom avatar
Note: the maximum size of your custom image is 50 by 50 pixels or 10000 bytes (whichever is smaller).

**Please resize all avatars to fit the above limits**
If your avatar is larger then the above limits - IT WILL BE REMOVED!

Best Regards,
