My tank is a 300 gallon Tank. Custom built by myself. 7 feet long 30 inches wide and 26 inches in height. This tank has been up and running for almost 5 years. I have an HSA skimmer that runs 18 hours per day. A calcium reactor that runs 24/7 to maintain alk at 12 dkh and cal at 440-450ppm. I have 10 four foot vhos all on ICE CAP ballasts. 2- MH also on ICE CAP ballasts. As you can see I really like this ballasts! The Metal Halides are on a moving light track that makes a pass over the tank every ten minutes. This is run by a Neptune Aquacontroller II. I run a deep sand bed that is full of life forms. There are way to many corals and fish to count. Most have been with me for over 4 years. There is 11 powerheads in the tank for circulation as well as my main return pump of aprox 1000 gallons. I have a 50 gallon refugium that sits above the tank in a back room. This is helping me keep my PH at 8.31 in the morning and 8.55 during lights on. I feed various foods 2-3 times per day as well as add other misc chemicals daily. Almost forgot I also run a moon light simulation. I guess that is pretty much it. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks for the interest.

cool...so im assuming if your tank is a length of 7 feet, your light mover is on a 6 foot track...is the light mover the light rail? see i was thinking that this would be cool to do and maximize lighting...i was also wondering the height that youhave your halide over top of the other tube lights...also..how do you have the two lights on the mover - do they each cover thier own side of the tank moving back and forth within that area or are they both together as they move up and down the track? nice tank!
