My poor starfish

I left on sat morning all was fine, come back sundaynight and not so good my starfish is missing 3 legs, I have a 2nd one, both are brittle stars, 1 is black with spikes and does not come out much the other ( broken brittle ) is green with white spikes, Would they fight?

Some one mentioned a mantis shimp, will look into that.

:( the kicker is i have only found about 2 - 3 inches of leg, and even that is in some pieces, any ideas ?

Don't worry too much, as long as he dosn't get harrased any more then he is now he will grow hi legs back! take some time... but they will come back!

I have seen a serpent have all its legs ripped off, then start to grow them back slowly! Looks funny! Huge body, Itty bitty legs lol!

dont worry i will keep a close eye on it, but would like to know what did this.. and where the legs went too? Only have small damsels and would figure if they got that close the star would eat them!!!

Looking at him closer some of his spines are broken,, like they have been dragged,

There are no crabs at all in your tank??

Just some blue legs, and a emerald.. Have had the black star for 4 months now, no problems, and now have a serpent with no legs when i woke up was good at 3am, but not at 7, did not see anything near him.
