I have made reference to this trapping method a few times. I decided to make one for all to see.

Here go's

First off, get a CLEAR 2l pop bottle. I have used a green one for picture purposes.

Cut the top 1/4 off the bottle

Now take the top piece and cut the spout off. Make sure the hole you cut this time, is big enough for the intended fish

Discard the spout you just cut off. Now flip the top over and push it into the bottle

Here is your finished product

Now

Put some frozen food into the bottle and then sink the bottle into the tank. Yes you will catch shrimp, serpent stars or whatever else decides its hungry but eventually you will get that fish !!!

I have used this method a few times and it worked each time.

Good Luck

:cheers2:

I caught my maroon clown on a salmon hook using ghost shrimp as bait just yesterday! Mind you I was trying to get my Hawkfish out! (Mitch photographed him) He will be for sale if anyone is interested! lol

But this seems less "agressive" then my attempt! lol

I want to get some Cleaner shrimp, emerald crabs ect... Hawkfish won't like them very much :) or actually he will only like them for dinner!
