some type of closed brain/favites coral. Favites flexuosa maybe.....

looks like platygyra sp. the lack of centres and the presence of long valleys are the clues, imo.

You may be right! Searched the net & found pics very similar also called Platygyra.

I have attached a more detailed picture to help ID.

It's platygyra......not even close to merulina, although the two look similar from a distance.
