For all of the DIY Plumbers out there what would be the best way to plumb 2 55 gal drums together?
Now the posibly tricky part... has to be plumbed in the middle (side of the drum).
Any actual ref to part numbers and suppliers would be fantastic.
Thanks

Brian
Talk to Flavio or Tom
They have a great source for plumbing parts.

Just use standard parts from Home Depot and a little bit of silicone to be extra sure. Cheap and easy. See these links for pictures:

getting the bulkheads is the easy part what I am sure is going to be the hard pard is trying to install them on a round surface and not have them leak.

What are the drums made of?
what diameter pipe do you want between them?

Drums are made of HDPE plastic. as for the pipe.... 1.5 -2" just looking to be able to get water to flow through them.

I used silicone in the past on installations much like yours Brian - works well and the plastic drums will bend enough to conform to the bulkheads.

so I should just get some bulkheads, add a nice big bead of silicone and then crank the bulkheads tight?
If thats all there is to it then it should be very easy.
