Anenome sting?!?!?!

Hey !

I have a large yellow tang, and this morning i wake up and he has a thing stuck to the side of him
looks like a worm ! its the same size as a small tenticle of the anenome i have in there and its the same color !! purple !

ive NEVER seen anything like this before !

why is there an anenome tenticle stuck to the side of my tang ?
will he eventually shed it ? or do i have to take it off ?

That's pretty disconcerting. Hopefully it's not a parasite of some sort. Do you have a cleaner shrimp in the tank?

its weird its gone now....

it was exactly purple the same as the anenome . so strange...

i have both a cleaner shrimp and fish
