Can you help me ID this fella I found in my sump? and anything you may know about him/or her? The pink just behind the tenticle that extends about half way back is some sort of ? shell ?? i think, and the rest behind the pinkish shell seems like soft meaty tissue? My refugium light just came on when I seen this moving quickly across the glass.
Thnkas for any help.

Hey,
It looks like a species of herbivorous snail from Indonesia. I have a breeding population in my aquarium, they are great algae eaters.

if this guy was in my refugium, it would stand to reason that there are likely more? and in my display tank? maybe?

They are nocturnal so have a look around your aquarium in the middle of the night with a flashlight and you might see some more. As I said, they are beneficial so you shouldn't have to remove them.

I have a couple of those in my sump. Did not even know they were there until I rearranged it a few weeks ago.
