You should vary the amount of food you put in your tank by watching the accumulated nutrients. By food I mean fish or coral food and you can watch the nutrient level with PO4 and NO3 test kits or by getting good at watching and recognizing the signs of excess nutrients in your tank.
If your tank is super clean and you can feed everyday or twice a day then go for it but go slow (ramp up and down) because it will take a while for the tank to show how your feedings are affecting the tank.

It also depends what kinds of fish you have. Certain species such as anthias & wrasses need to be fed more often.

I feed cycplozee to my tank everyday(i have to keep the gorgonia[never can spell that right] happy)
I feed my fish everyday as well, either flakes or mysis shrimp.
I also feed phyto to the tank once every 3 days.

I do alternate my feedings ... liquid supplements (Nutra Plus, Marine Snow & Amino Acid) , mysis shrimps, cyclopeeze, pellets & planktons and at least once a week of manual target feeding of Acans, Lobos, Open Brains, Donuts, Blastomussa, Dendrophyllia's, P. Grandis, Duncans & Chalices.
Oh BTW .... RR's got this really never seen before Goniopora ... Purple Blue base with Sunflower Yellow polyps :bwink: !! Go check out their shipment!!
