I've got a starfish from a new LR, not sure if it is good or not and what type it is. I've attached a picture below.
Is this a baby starfish? or it will grow bigger?
Is this starfish harmful for my tank?

Hey, I am not sure of the name.. But I had some of thoes a long time ago, and a person told me the name ( I forgot it) and that they were harmful to some coral species.. I dont know how true that is or anything but that is just my thoughts, I would just keep it in qt till you get a positive ID.

That is an Asterina star (Asteriniid stars [Asterina anomal]). The majority of them are harmless herbivores, but there are some that are know to prey on soft/stony corals. Chances of having the harmful ones are very low. I would suggest keeping an eye on it, but personally I believe that one looks like a non-harmful one.
As Wise_Since mentioned, When in doubt, SUMP IT!

I consider these little guys (the white ones) as part as my clean up crew! and an indication of a healthy tank!
Not sure about the brown ones though? - you might want to research them.
