One thing about acropora...it is much harder to ID a small piece. Large colonies will show the grow form.

interesting....maybe...but not definate IMO. AIMS says they are rare outside western australia as well.
Vlad....what was able to pull the aims on willisae but not the search page?? What is going on with aims...what is the homepage? I heard a while ago that they took it down but I'm still able to find species if I do a search on the name on google.

If people would read our blog more, they would be much more informed ;)

I do have their database on all SPSs cataloged at my disposal. So it is much easier for me to look things up. Like I said.. the closest i got was A. willisae, but it is not an exact match.

Sorry. You know I follow your blog but that one was only posted the day before I asked. :) I'm just not as in tune to the reefing world i guess.

Hey Darryl ... where was the "Green Hulk" acro acquired from? Was it an Aussie frag? Fast growing as well?

Not an Aussie coral at all. This coral was one of my first purchases probalby almost 4 years ago. I bought it as a wild bali and I lost almost the whole coral at some point. I managed to save a frag and now it has some size to it again.
