I just got a new fish today and don't remember what it is exactly. I think its a rusty dwarf angelfish. It is eating cyclopeze. I was told it will eat algae?

wait a minute.just had another look at it.
is there any spots on this fish if so it could be a potters angel.
it looks alittle big for a 10 gal tank.

That is certainly a Fisher's Pymgy Angel (C. fisheri). It is found only from the Hawaiian Islands. The one in your pictures has typical colouration, but I've seen ones with blue spotting before.
The one I had enjoyed a wide range of meaty foods (either frozen, flake or freeze-dried), but make sure to get some greens in there too. They will graze on algae too. Generally peaceful, but mine was the only inhabitant of a 20 gallon.

Thanks! It is a Fisher's Dwarf Angelfish. It is now eating cyclopeze and mysis. I haven't seen it graze on algae yet but I hope it will soon. They only get 2.4" and it is full grown now. It likes to be cleaned by my shrimp. My tank it actually a bio-cube 14. Now with a pare of ocellaris clowns and the pygmy angelfish. I have a sump/refugium so my water volume is 2 gallons larger then just the bio-cube 14. Thanks again for the help and concern.
