Hi folks, some of you already saw the date, but I got a message from Rob saying he had missed that post, so here it is:
The BBQ/meeting will be at my house on July 25th - starting around 1PM, MACL will provide the food and softdrinks - open to all MACL members, and potential members (so basically anyone). Is always a good chat with other fish crazy folks just like you...
There will be a table for frags, so feel free to post here what you might be bringing, and if you want to bring hardware, all I ask is that if it doesn't sell, take it home with you. I have enough stuff as it is :)
My address is 41808 North Street St Thomas (if using a GPS you have to use Southwold instead of St Thomas) N5P 4L7. Phone is 519-631-9517.
Please post on here if you plan on attending so I can get a reasonable head count for food.
I have a big swingset in the back yard if you want to bring the family, but please bring lawnchairs if you have them (I don't have a pool, unless you count the thing in the basement like some have suggested)
PM me if I have forgotten any details.

Mark,
by good fortune I'll be in Canada at the time! I'll see what I can do for scheduling, but I want to make this as it will give me a chance to renew membership and catch up.
I'll be able to confirm in a week or so, but please put me down for 2 (myself and my girlfriend).
Anything needed for pop, drinks, etc? Should I bring a bathing suit as you suggest?

Going to see what I can do about attending but unfortunately I am working 8-4 that day! If that changes I will repost my attendance.

Lookin forward to it! Not sure if I will have any frags to offer, but I would be interested if anyone has any nice encrusting montis or nice monti digitata frags.

As has been the way in the past, it is BYOB (I'll have Pepsi, some juice, gingerale) and if anyone wants to bring a salad or desert, I'm sure it would go over well.
I do need a better head count of who might be coming, because so far it looks like just me and 3 others (Tim, Chemlife and his other half)
I know there are more coming, please sign in and let me know.

Well, it looks like I will have some zoos for sale at the upcoming BBQ. Here is a picture of the colony:

I will be making frags of either 10-15 or 20 polyps. Let me know if you are interested and I can send you more info.
Looking forward to it,
Tim

Does anyone have an email mailing list of all the addresses of members? It's the summer...not sure how many are checking in all that often. I just stumbled across this myself thinking that I hadn't checked in for awhile, and that July is usually bbq month! Maybe a quick email out to the people that are in the club, but not actively posting here would be a good idea so that everyone at least knows and can decline. I remember seeing a pair of our members last year at Big Al's the week after the bbq at Glen's house, who had no idea the bbq was when it was, and a little disappointed. Dunno if it will help at all in boosting the responses, but it also couldn't hurt to spread the word. Cheers! I have 2 kids going to Thomas the Tank Engine in St. Thomas that morning, so will try to at least come by on the way out afterwards. As long as you haven't moved, I know where you are :) Cheers!

:hi1: I did not realize MALC existed. I will most certainly be joining. If invited, I may even be able to attend on the 25th.
Is there a listing of members?
Looking forward to meeting the London crew.

I'll be there Mark. Is there any specific food item you would like me to bring?
Also if anyone is interested I am looking for a new home for my squamosa clam and could bring it along. It is just too big for my setup.

Thanks to Mark and his family for opening up their home and letting us take a dip in the pool, er tank. That thing is amazing, and the first thing I did is scoped out my own upgrade tank (not as big as marks) , just hope the wife says yes when I ask. (if no one hears from me by the next meeting, that means my wife wasn't impressed and has me now swimming with the fishes)
Where was everybody else today?
