Species of the week

If there is enough interest out there I was thinking of doing a species of the week thread.

I will pick a specimen, list some details for husbandry and include a pic.

It will then be open disscusion on it

Would there be an interest in this??

Ya, sure thing. We could post pics of our own specimens. Compare husbantry notes, etc.

Well Mitch...

It looks as though most people who have seen your idea are in favour...so I will add a new Species of the Week section.

Anybody is welcome to post relating info to the threads as they continue. Hopefully, this will become a great archive of information - for ongoing reference and as a good start-up point for people who are looking to keep different livestock.

Let me know when you want to post your first thread...the forum will be waiting! ;)

YES PLEASE!!!

I would love to hear about peoples experiences with fish/corals/inverts/algae you name it. Its nice to get others opinions on what to purchase and how to deal with problems when they come up. For example, hair algae woes (story of my life right now). I hear all sorts of things about how to combat it, half the people are just making suggestions and haven't actually tried it (ie, tangs, snails, urchins, nudibranchs etc. etc).
