Saw this used skimmer for sale. However, I noticed there is a 1" crack on the body. We pluged the skimmer in for testing and no leaks, but I am worry. So the question is can I fix that crack using arcylic solvent?

Yep. When you use Weldon 4 you'll see that it gets drawn into the crack real nice like... Weldon 4 has a water consistency and you can buy it at The Building Box. Try and get a syringe to apply it. If you can get a thicker needle than a standard syringe (should be available in electronic shops) or a squeeze bottle with steel applicator it will make your life easier.

there is a glue called wet bond. i dont know if you can get it casue i think only wholesale refrigeration heating and airconditioning companys sell it.
however my dad is in that trade and can get it if you want a tube
this lue is the msot aqmazing thing ever it can glue any two substances together and will hold stronge as steel
completley no toxix
my skimmer can in craked in 4 places..i glues it with htis stuff and not a single problem. the skimmer is now stronger5 then it was when not broken. if you want you can come to my place check out my skimmer see how good the glue held and if you like it my dad can get you a tube and wholesale price. i think its 17 bucsk a tube and it dries on really really thick liek you can glob it on 1 inch thick if you want and the skimmer will never leak
jsut an option as the weldon stuff will work as well but i trust this stuff waaaaaayyy more
thanks pm me if you think this glue would work for you
