Well the name says it all.. Just trying to gauge how much interest there would be in doing a group order in time for the March 12 meet. Weve already got 4 current members interested, just want to see if anyone else would like to get in on this. This buy would be open to anyone currently in the WGMS OR anyone that wants to come out to the March meeting. Im thinking that we could all place seperate orders and then have it shipped to mikemikemike's place in meadowvale (location of March 12 meet), and we could grab our goodies at the March meet. :woohoo:

BRS does not have Dry Fiji Live Rock any more. They have something new which is "Reef Saver" Eco Rock. According to their website, "Reef Saver" Eco Rock does not come from the reef/ocean. Does anyone know where it originated? Is it dolomite rock and would it be just as effective as real live rock (i.e., granted no marine life but porous and good buffering capability)?

I have heard of this 'eco rock" also, I have only seen pictures of it but from what I've heard, people are getting good results. It is very pouris and once mixed with LR, it will become populated just the same as dry rock. I have no idea where it comes from, may it's a type of prefab rock???
