WGMS - Our own classifieds section!

So, now that we are established enough, we were given our own Classifieds section, like MAST, MASK, and MACL have.

IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE CLASSIFIEDS:

Go to your profile
Click the 'Group Memberships' link on the left
Click on the WMGS group, choose JOIN
I will get a notification letting me know you wish to join.

ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE ATTENDED MEETS ARE ABLE TO JOIN!

Voila, you'll then have access to WGMS's classifieds!

Correct me if I am wrong, are you saying that if the 5 people that went to the meetings put something up for sale then I can only view it if I was one of those people at the meeting?

Somewhat.

The classifieds section is for WGMS members. So, those who haven't attended meets or are a member, wouldn't be able to see the classifieds.

If you did attend a meet, you should add yourself to the group, so you can take advantage of the WGMS classifieds

All the club classifieds are geared to club members only and as such private. The club memberships are run by the club leaders (they are the ones that give you the ok or not, not AP staff) and this helps give another perk to club membership as well as adds even more value to your membership dues. This gives members the ability to give each other a special 'club discount' and help each other out before selling it in the AP classified section for their desired full sale price.

In order to join the club you will need to go into your user control panel and click the group memberships (http://www.aquariumpros.ca/forums/profile.php?do=editusergroups) link. Find the club you wish to join and the request will be sent to the club leaders. If you meet the requirements for membership (ie dues, application, etc) they will approve your membership request.

Once a member that club's classifieds are all yours.

Ooops, I have not attended a meeting with you guys yet, but I was so excited that I applied to join your club classifieds. I am planning on joining you guys for the February meet if it is ok with you guys.

You are more than welcome to join us in February, and to be fair to everyone, once you attend a meet, we can then approve your application.
