just thought id post some quick pics from my wifes new camera. Its a olympus 1030sw waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof 10mp camera. Capable of depths of 30 feet. i need to try some other settings for white balance but here they are. they are taken from inside the tank

Nice, i was thinking about getting one too but I'm not a fan of the firmware on that camera. A bit slow...

Water is so dense it's hard to get a camera that does it really well but these cameras actually do a decent job. And they're made for the real world of durability.

Enjoy! What colour did you get?

they only had black. the main reason for the cam is so my wife can take even more pics of my daughter and soon to be new son at the lake and pool side with no worry. (plus i thought it would make for some cool tank shots)

How close-up a macro-shot can you take with this camera?

i took some macros of several distances so you could see. pic flake on glass 1/8", shell .5", polyp 1.5", torch 2", baby plate 3", shrimp 6", brain and zoos 7"

Thanks for the examples biggy_boie,

So the minimum "super-macro" shot is at 1/8" ?

Can you shoot something less than 1" on a coral, like a polyp or something, wanted to see how good the 'details' are on a coral?

Thanks again for all the comments :)
