Hello all,
TJ - Thank you for the kind words. I guess I should be doing more photography. I like the A+ as well. LOL :-)
Tooloud - The tank is 150gallons. It is 60" x 24" x 24". I will be taking a picture of my Naso soon. I guess it will be a challenge because it is Ultra Hyper. It is contantly moving and grazing.
Pau_BB_Guy - Currently I have 4 Vho actinics and 3 400 watt Metal Halides. I will have 4 400 metal halides set up soon.
My lighting set-up will be:
--------------------VHO ACTINICS--------------------------
--------------------VHO ACTINICS--------------------------
20K radium ---- 10k/6.5k Iwasaki ---- 20k radium
--------------------VHO ACTINICS--------------------------
--------------------VHO ACTINICS--------------------------
Note:
1) The 10k and the 6.5k iwasaki are housed on the same reflector.
2) I stagger my lighting schedule. I have all my lights on together for about 5 hrs in total. Total photoperiod is 9 hrs. Vho's are on from 4pm until 1 am, radiums are on from 5 pm unitl 12 am, the 10k and the 6.5K iwasaki's will be on from 6pm until 11 pm.
3) With this lighing set-up I could put any clams anywhere. You notice that most of my clams are on the substrate. However all my clams are attached to a shell.
Red-Sea - Clams are addicting. No such thing as Ugly Clam. Flourescent green sound very interesting. They all have unique patterns in them.
Thank you,
Marte

Still gotta say WOW!.
that much light.. and you are keeping what you are, thought maybe that would be too much light for some of the softies in there.

Tooloud :
The trick to it my friend is staggering the lights. You would be surprise to see some of my softies open as much as they do. You have to have your aquascaping planned. You would be surprise how much shaded areas you have when certain lights go on. The reflectors that you use also plays a role in it. I have a reflector that I could manipulate and have certain hotspots ( concentrated, almost like a spot light ).

cool! ..
well i like it alot!
i can't wait to get my 100g running, just in the process of trying to track down the lights i want for it.. i was going to go with Just VHO becouse of the canopy.. but im thinking i could stick in a couple of 250's into it.. Dont want to change the canopy as its a matching stand and canopy.
