Hitchhiker found this last week. Doesn't appear to have harmed anything. I did lose a fire goby that I never saw again. If anyone has experience with this fella or knows what it is, I would appreciate it.

I should add - it is about 2.5 to 3 inches long. It molted once last week because I found the skeleton and it didn't match anything else. The legs are that blue color and the tip of the tail is the same blue. After the molt the white on the body is brighter. Thanks .

Try researching Slipper Lobsters or Scyllarids. It's not something you see everyday. Some more pics would help!
If it is a Slipper Lobster they are not reef safe. They are more suited to a fowlr tank with a dsb as hey are burrowers. They are dedicated carnivores and can't be trusted with mollusks, echinoids and other crustaceans. hey aso have a tendency to jump from open top tanks.
