coral ID plz

My friend who has my star polyps just picked up a new coral a couple of days ago from a friend of hers who has suddenly dropped off the map so to speak, and wanted to trade me for my star polyps. the problem is, neither of us can seem to figure out what it is. she was going to ask the guy she got it from what it is but she can't seem to get a hold of him. i haven't received a photo of it yet as she's not at home but i've attached a pic that looks like it, only the one she has is more of a tan-yellow coloration and it's little polyps look like they have purple or some other darker color on them. any ideas?

Looks like a colt coral (Cladiella sp) to me.

Just a guess...but looks like a bleached finger leather to me.

I think dewey is right, but it may the green type of finger leather.
