New guy here!!!

I am so happy to find a group in london for marine....I have been in the hobby for about 8 Years and looking to learn more any time I can. I just set up a new display tank in my house and I realy want to bring it to the next level. I have been "tankless" for two years and happy to be back. :woohoo:

Welcome to AP and welcome to the MACL! As Nano said grab yourself a membership form (http://www.maclondon.org/MACL_Membership_Form.pdf)and come out to the next meeting in May (Date to be determined, Check here or www.maclondon.org (http://www.maclondon.org)).

You'll find that the London marine community is both very large and VERY knowledgable. Membership in the MACL also gives you a nice 10% discount at BA's which always helps when you are starting out again and need some equipment etc...

Don't be afraid to ask any questions you have at any time and welcome to the club!

I was thinking the same thing Gary. This club is getting HUGE. I wonder if there was somewhere on this forum where we could post our members ( i mean our names not our errrrrrr, you know what i mean) just to see how many official members belong to MACL.

Being a list that's forever growing that may be a pita... but ya know what's not and is missing from the clubs page? No idea? Come on, guess..... bah... the BoD! The who's who of the board of directors (or whatever you want to call it) is missing from the club site.

It'd be a good idea to list them and have the names as a direct link to either AP email or AP PM.

Seriously though, even without the perks at the LFS's there are features here only available to MACL members that could save you money and more than make up the contribution for both with AP and MACL! :thumbsup:

Welcome Nelson...Wow you were able to stay out of this hobby er obsession for 2 years..I see you have set up a 150..must have an understanding wife or girlfriend or maybe both LOL...Look forward to meeting you and I am sure you will learn lots and be able to give some good advice yourself...Good people in this club and if you are re-stocking , going to a meeting is a great way of getting new frags or trading yours for others that you don't have...Gary (reefermadness) is the new frag King of MACL...right guys...Take Care and once again WELCOME
