Hi

I would like some assistance in adding a corner overflow to my exisiting 65g (48x18x18) drilled tank. Where can I buy one, or how do I find the materials to make.

The existing straight "stand-pipe" works, but it is kinda ugly and I don't think the 2.5 inch "crown" is large enough to allow for approx. 800 g/hr flow through the sump.

In reading related threads DIY acrylic is difficult to keep straight and to get it to bond to the glass. I was going to build out of glass, but I am having a hard time finding opaque glass, and I really don't want this thing to be see-thru.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

This is what it looks like now.

I built mine out of a sheet of acrylic.
I cut the teeth into it using a dremel tool and bent it using a heat strip (had to order that thing from the states - Expensive after duties, etc.).

You can also buy them perfectly cut and bent from Oakville Reef Gallery.

You just silicone them in. Getting acrylic to stick to glass is hard? I guess it would be, but getting acrylic to stick to silicone and glass to stick to silicone was NO problem.
