30G tank cleaned and fixed

So here we go.. took the tank and cleaned out the tank and removed all the smaller junks of rock..

Its looking good, i now have more room for frags... not to mention the water flow is looking much better now that i have lots of hole and nooks and crannies..

So lets start!

So here is the before shot.. as you can see due to the leaking overflow box i could not fill the tank all the way.. so it was allways alittle low!

and then here we go.. this is the tank empty.. left my clown and the Seahare in the tank while i did the maintance and move all the corals and rocks into the sump.

he is feeling alittle depressed becouse his mushroom is gone!

so here is the new piping that i installed! .. alowing me to maintain the water level i like.. and frees up space that the dam overflow box was taking!

So far the tank is alittle stired up.. and once it clears up i will take some pictures of it!

Alright the weather has cleared up in the tank :)

as you can see there are many more holes in rocks alowing much more water flow! and i got my 2 inches of water back and the rock up the back wall.. just need to install some sort of a screen on the overflow now.

Looks like you have lots of nooks and crannies to put corals now! :) Nice!

Well I think it's obvious that little clown learned some serious karate in the 3 years you've had him. How else could he have taken out all them big fish?

well as you can see i did not scrap off all the glass. did not know if there would be any issues with all that algae crap floating around!

As for the clown.. from the start it was only him his mate and bi color blennie and a PJ Cardinal.. over the years i lost the cardinal and blennie and for some reason he did kill the other clown.. not sure why.. so he has been alone with his shroom for about 3 months now!

As for the Nooks and Crannies.. Cant wait to get the corals! .. .

Do you think using some marine epoxy and eggcrate would work to put a screen on the overflow? What are you thinking of using?

Yup.. Using the eggcrate but not the marine epoxy.. waste of money and does not work all that well.. going to just superglue it on! :)
