I am setting up a 180 gallon with 65 gal sump and 40 gallon refuge. I am enclosing it in the rec room basement in a partioned room with only picture frame viewable window. The room it will be in has the main water supply and a drain. Do I mount your 4 stage 100 gal r/o right on the wall and run a line to the sump or the tank? Will the r/o unit come on to do make up water automatically? thanks Steve

You can do it a few ways.
I have my RO/DI unit connected to a booster pump. I have the booster pump connected to a Tank Level Controller - that turns the booster pump (and in turn the RO/DI unit) on when the sump level gets below a certain level.
You can do this - or just connect the RO/DI to an auto-shutoff valve with a float-valve in the sump.
You can also do the above (auto-shutoff & float-valve) connected to a holding vat.
You can also just fill a holding vat manually with the RO/DI unit...and then top-off as needed.
For me...it was a matter of the least amount of work I have to do and worry about...the better.
