Black percs are gone..i am very dissapointed..everyone please read.

Unfortunately to all of those who wanted the black percs, a customer came into the store today and took advantage of my new employee.

All 10 of the true black percs I brought in were sold while I was not here for 16 dollars a piece. These are 70 dollar fish. Meaning we lost money on the entire deal as 16 dollars is well under cost.

First I will say this is our mistake, as it is our job to have the prices figured out so it is nobody fault but our own..

However I will say this.

I hope it was not an aquariumpros member, although I am pretty sure it is. I have been nothing but honest with every single customer who comes here, I have been very generous with pricing and giving deals or discounts. But 160 dollars for 700 dollars worth of fish is robbery.

This person clearly knew he was ripping me off, as after bartering with my employee and getting the price down so low he bought all of them. This person knew he was cheating my employee nobody just happens to by 10 of these in one shot.

So to all of those who asked me to hold clowns for you. I am sorry but we no longer have any of the true black percs.

I am sorry to those who where waiting for these, I know some of you were driving a long distance to see them.

What goes around comes around and if you who is responsible are reading this i hope you understand that.

First and foremost ... we really symphatize with the "Highway Robbery" by this person(s) ... and I'm wondering if it's the very same person who's been making his/her rounds around the local LFS ... NAFB has been 'thru something similar(numerous times) and I'm sure if all our AP sponsors can organize some kinda 'info network' to identify these culprit(s) .. I'm sure we can keep a look out for these Piece of S***t!!

Okay .. just got off the phone with Ryan and am sure this 1 person is an AP member/guest 'cuz he obviously know what's going on @ WTR. Taking advantage of the new employee and after getting more details from Ryan it seems like it's the same Jerk who's been to NAFB store numerous times .... middle age, short etc.(You can get a better description of him from Ryan)

Keep your eyes peelled for anyone trying to sell Black Percs to any LFS, collectors especially if not around Chinatown and alert any buddies @ BA's as well!! :mgun:

sorry to here!!!! it must be one of 163 people on here(thats the number who viewed the other thread) as well that person must have a fairly large tank to hold them all correct? so that would really help cut it down...i think if you tried really hard this could be easlly narrowed down, good luck, hope someone steps up

THAT'S AN AMAZING STORY! I've never seen a vendor come out after a customer in public like this. Usually it is the customers who are griping about the vendor for some reason. Best of luck. I hope you get the satisfaction you seek.

I was at Ryan's store earlier on this afternoon to look at the Aussie black ocellaris and found out that some loser has done this to WTR. Our sympahty is with you Ryan, and don't be too upset.

For those that are interested in the fish shipment, Ryan have alot of the nicer collector edition fairy wrasse came in, also has a pair of blue stripe clownfish and two pairs of the vanautu cinnamon clownfish. (Oh yeah, if nobody take those clownfish this weekend, I am gonna snatch them after :D)

Okay ... I've put out an APB(all Points Bulletin) to a couple of non AP LFS around the GTA and Markham area ... and hopefully we(as in the AP community) can catch this low life scumbag as quickly as possible.
Be on the lookout when you folks are heading to these two Sponsor's Sale tomorrow ...

That sucks Ryan. But even if you find the guy there is not much you can do if he doesnt want to return them. He didnt steal or anything.

Obviously you can choose to not let him shop at your store anymore which would be justified.

Hope there is a a pleasant resolution though.

Just another vote of support. This makes me so angry, good and honest retailers are so hard to come by these days. I really hope this doesn't taint you too badly, a lot of us will go out of our way to support retailers like yourself who give such good service.

Sorry Ryan, it's good you posted here & made us aware of this under-handed person. It seems there's lots of 'eyes' & 'ears' out there, paying attention to this situation. It will certainly make it difficult for the idiot who did this.

Also, 'sorry to the other AP members who are disappointed and unable to purchase these fish.

The funny thing is you don't have to be a AP member to read anything Online here except for Classifieds or anything In depth from this Forum.... thus no Mods(I think...) or anyone of us can really figure out where he's coming from ... just my 2 cents!!

I really do feel bad for you Ryan but I think there is a lesson to be learned here - display your prices, or print up a list that people can pick up when they come in (would be nice if all the sponsors could adopt this).

I hope this guy does get whats coming to him though, what he did is pretty much fraud.
